Description

Statement of Work: The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System has a requirement to acquire banquet space with a sit down meal for a total of 275 participants attending the FY 2018 Volunteer Recognition Banquet on April 20, 2018. Task 1: Contractor shall prepare and serve up to 275 sit down meals to include choice of entrée, salad, dessert, water, soda, & coffee. Task 2: The contractor must provide the following equipment: Podium with microphone, Two tables near the podium for placing awards, and Tables and chairs sufficient to seat 275 for sit down meal. Requirements: i) Banquet space must be located within a 5 mile radius of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 1010 Delafield Road, Aspinwall, PA. No other locations will be considered. ii) conference/ballroom space to accommodate sit down meal for 275 guests. iii) must propose for use a facility that is compliant with the requirements of the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990 (Public Law 101-391) (15 U.S.C. 2201 et. seq.) and is listed on the U.S. Fire Administration Hotel and Motel Register. iv) adequate free parking spots for up to 275 guests. v) must be compliant with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (Public Law 101-336) (42 U.S.C. 12101 et. seq.). vi) Banquet space must be on a single floor and very spacious to accommodate many guests who are in wheelchairs.
