- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to construct a 2,500 square feet, physically-isolated, single story structure to house communications equipment. The project includes site development, concrete footing, concrete floor surfaces, structural walls, standing seam metal roofing system electrical services, lighting, fire detection and suppression systems, ceiling systems, plumbing, mechanical systems, intrusion detection systems. Project installs building intrusion detection systems (IDS) and provides required connections to energy monitoring and control systems. Project includes several miles of buried fiber optic cable throughout the compound and down Lamont Rd. to Longstreet Rd. Sustainability and energy measures and building information systems are included. Supporting facilities include electric service; water, sewer, and gas; paving, walks, curbs and gutters; storm drainage; site improvements; information systems, anti-terrorism measures. Heating and air conditioning will be provided. Air conditioning: 53 kW (15 Tons). The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the size standard is $36,500,000.00. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about May 28, 2018. The proposal due date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation.
