- Description
- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price commercial contract for living room and dining room furniture for Flag Housing at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) in Anacostia MD. The procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Subpart 19.5 Set-Asides for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 337122 Dining Room Furniture, Wood, Household Type Manufacturing; the Size Standard is 750 Employees. A complete Request for Quote (RFQ) package will be available for downloading at the NECO Website: http://www.neco.navy.mil on or about 07 March 2018. The NECO website has a Submit Bid button next to the solicitation number. DO NOT use the Submit Bid button on NECO to submit your proposal for the upcoming solicitation. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the quoter is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
