- The Bureau of the Fiscal Service, on behalf of the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), intends to make an award on a sole source basis to Crime Point. The CrimePoint Grab & Go system is an IP based mobile surveillance system that require specific instruction and numerous hours of specialized training. TFSD DTA has invested numerous hours in specialized training on mission related operations specific to the CrimePoint Grab & Go system. The same type of units are currently in TIGTA's inventory and being used by DTAs. Subject to final approval, The Bureau of the Fiscal Service (BFS), on behalf of the TIGTA, intends to negotiate a sole-source procurement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. A request for more information, or a copy of the solicitation, will not be considered an affirmative response to this Special Notice. Telephone responses or inquiries to this Special Notice will NOT be accepted. Responses to this request shall be submitted on or before 2:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 by email to purchasing@fiscal.treasury.gov, Attn: BGUINN. The following file extensions are not allowable and application materials/data submitted with these extensions cannot be considered:.bat,.cmd,.com,.exe,.pif,.rar,.scr,.vbs,.hta,.cpl, and.zip files. Microsoft Office compatible documents are acceptable. No other information regarding this Special Notice will be provided at this time. This notice does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. All vendors responding to this notice are advised that their response is not a request that will be considered for contract award. Responses will be shared with the federal government agencies as part of market research for fulfilling future similar requirements.
