- This announcement is a Sources Sought Notice to establish market research. This is not a Request for Quote(RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is to obtain information for planning purposes and not to be taken as a commitment by the Government as implied or otherwise to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Scope of Work: The Contractor shall furnish all management, tools, supplies, equipment, materials, labor, and transportation necessary to clean dryer vents at various buildings on Army installations, in accordance with the manufacturer's standards, commercial practices and applicable Federal and State codes. Work Required for Air Duct Cleaning. The Contractor shall clean fixed dryer duct systems to clear of dust and removal of debris (Performance Work Statement will be included in the solicitation upon release). This work excludes the flex duct from dryer to fixed duct system. Upon completion, the Contractor shall properly dispose of any waste off post, per applicable procedures or guidelines from Federal, State, and local agencies. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified firms relative to the North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code 561790 - Other Services to Buildings and Dwellings. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENT FOR RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: 1). Your intent to submit a quote for this requirement when it is formally advertized; 2). Name of firm with address, phone number, email address, and point of contact; 3). Cage code and DUN's number; 4). Size of firm. This requirement is 100% small business set-aside. 5). Statement of Capability stating you skills, experience, and knowledge required to perform the specific type of work.
