Description

Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 for the Neurology EEG Clinic at the Temple VA Medical Center, 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Temple, TX 76504 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Natus Medical Incorporated, 3150 Pleasant View Road, Middleton, WI 53562. Natus Medical Incorporated is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the Xltek (Neuroworks and Sleepworks) brand of neurological diagnostic equipment and software. The Government believes that only one source can satisfy the agency requirements and intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Other sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 10:00AM CST. Such information will be used for determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
