- Tab 5- Industry Day Summary Tab 4- Industry Day Slides Tab 3- Industry Feedback Tab 2- CRM Tab 1- SE&I Draft PWS The Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Launch Systems Enterprise Directorate (SMC/LE), is performing market research for its upcoming service contract, Systems Engineering & Integration II (SE&I II), planned for award in March 2020. SMC/LE seeks industry's feedback on the SE&I II Draft PWS (Tab 1) through the Comment Resolution Matrix (CRM) (Tab 2). With respect to Tabs 1 and 2, Industry is encouraged to provide feedback which can include, but is not limited to, addressing the information categories contained in Tab 3, Industry Feedback. Additionally, for historical reference and informational purposes only, this FBO posting includes the SE&I II Industry Day Slides presented on 19 Dec. 2017 (Tab 4), and a Summary of the SE&I II Industry Day Comments (Tab 5). Please be advised that SMC/LE is not seeking specific feedback on Tabs 4 and 5 and that these documents are solely provided as an industry update. In accordance with FAR 52.215-3, Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, please be advised of the following: (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. (b) Although "proposal" and "offeror" are used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. (c) This solicitation is issued for the purpose of a Request for Information (RFI) only. Instructions for Responses: Responses to this RFI shall include the following: (a) company name, (b) address, (c) point of contact (including phone number and email addresses), (d) "number of employees" as defined by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.101 and (e) the amount of "annual receipts" as defined by FAR Part 19. Please provide all comments on Tab 2 (PWS) and Tab 3 (Industry Feedback Areas) within the CRM (Tab 2). The CRM shall be transmitted to SMC/LE in Microsoft Excel format via email to the points of contact listed within this RFI. All comments regarding the PWS and any additional feedback shall be submitted no later than 1700 PST on 20 March 2018. Please be advised that SMC/LE responses to questions or comments submitted through the CRM may be provided to all offerors. However, it is not SMC/LE's intent to release Offeror specific proprietary information. If submitting proprietary information, please ensure the applicable comments are CLEARLY MARKED and segregated from non-proprietary comments in a separate CRM.
