- REQUEST FOR SPECIFICATION CLARIFICATION SOLICITATION This acquisition is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This is a requirement for Commercial Industrial Services (CIS) - Collection, Holding, Transfer (CHT) Cleaning Services to provide labor, services, equipment, and materials for the chemical cleaning of the AFT VCHT System (tank and piping) onboard the USS Russell (DDG-59). The contractor will be required to provide all labor services and materials in accordance with the established statement of work and all applicable government specifications and regulations. Inspections and acceptance of all services will be performed at destination by the cognizant government representative. The contractor is responsible for the use of the latest revision of all references, specifications and NAVSEA Standard Items. The successful offeror will be required to have a Southwest Regional Maintenance Center approved Quality System (IAW NAVSEA Standard Item 009-004), approved and in place at time of contract award. The applicable NAICS will be "336611" Business size 1,250 employees. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular, FAC 2005-97 dated 02/22/2018. A ship inspection will take place at Naval Base San Diego, on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 0830 AM. Please contact Corey Ellick, (619) 726-5855 or Gener Sango, (619) 556-1134 prior to inspection.
