Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Engineering Service at Salisbury, North Carolina requires a TS-550 Fuel Management system and Tank Monitoring Console to replace old system. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333913; size standard is 750 employees. Delivery addresses are: VA Salisbury NC 1601 Brenner Avenue Salisbury NC 28144-2516 This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. The responses to this announcement will assist in determining the socio-economic set aside if feasible. The Department of Veterans Affairs is required by Public Law 109-461 to give first priority to SDVOSB and VOSB concerns if there should be sufficient firms available to compete under a set aside. If insufficient veteran owned or small business response is received to establish the basis for setting this action aside for other than large business participation, then the action will be advertised as determined by the Contracting Officer should the requirement go to solicitation. The following supplies are being sought. Note that previously procured brand product numbers are provided; however, Equal Product may be sought should the requirement go to solicitation: Statement of work TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Obtain permits if necessary to complete our scope of work Print off set up of current Incon tank monitor Disconnect and label all probe and sensor wiring from existing Incon Disconnect electrical source and remove existing INCON Tank Monitoring console from wall Replace Float kits on all probes in tank Install the following Equipment: Tank Monitoring System Complete and test programing of new Incon EVO tank monitor Test Equipment Supplied by SEPS for Proper Operation Instruct Owner's Personnel on Proper Use of System EQUIPMENT LIST: TS-550 / TS-550 evo Tank Monitoring Console - TS550EDP Tank Monitoring Console with the following: Thermal Printer TS-550 Fuel Management System Console Interface Modules: Intrinsically Safe Modules TS-PRB 12 input probe module, LL2 Series mag probes, VFM flow meters and DMS Mag sensors TS-3WSNS - Channel 3-wire Sensor Module (max 3 modules per console & 6 modules per system Tank Level Probe: TSP-IGF4 4" float set for gasoline tanks & TSP-IDF4 4" float set for diesel tanks This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to any particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. All information submitted in response to this Sources Sought notice become property of the Government. Interested and capable respondents are requested to provide the information below. A capable respondent is generally considered a manufacturer of the required products. All responses to this notice shall include: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNS number (www.dnb.com), list of available compatible products, the geographical location the respondent is able to service, and documentation of authorized distributor certification if partnered with a manufacturer.
