- SEEKING SOURCES FOR delivery of ALTERNATIVE HOUSING SOLUTIONS FOR MISPLACED CITIZENS AFTER HURRICANE MARIA IN PUERTO RICO. FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTE. Seeking self-contained, single family housing units. Suitable for tropical climate, Durable and shipping container type strength and durability, Meets or exceed all ISO construction standards and building codes. Must be ready for occupancy, with minimal set-up time, Must Be fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom with shower, living room, bedroom/office, AC 110v/220v electrical wiring, telephone connection, internet connection, windows, doors, insulated finished walls and ceiling, finished, durable flooring, and furniture. Insulated and air-conditioned/heated, Must be water and wind-proof, quiet, safe, and secure, Connections to full utilities, Transportable via standard cargo container ships, trucks or rail, to remote and inaccessible areas. Connectable and Stackable to other units for transport and storage. Settable on most surface types and leveled, No foundations or structural assembly required, Be movable and reusable. Must have a selection of different size and design features (1-2 bedroom, etc.), Must have optional UFAS (Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards) compliant units Also interested in advanced technologies such as solar and wind powered electric capability.
