Description

Simpleware Software (Sole Source to Synopsys). Solicitation N00421-18-Q-0155 is issued as intent to sole source. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Synopsis, Incorporated under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 12 and 13. Synopsis is the software developer and only known company that can furnish the product. Simpleware Software is the only software on the market that uses image based meshing to convert 3D image data into highly complex, yet robust and efficient volumetric Finite Element (FE) meshes for export in the native formats of solvers such as Abaqus, Ansys, Comsol, LY-Dyna, NASTRAN etc. This is a brand name 100 % match only! Substitute or similar product will not be accepted. This notice is intent to Sole Source with Synopsis, Incorporated. ***Basis for Award*** Vendor must be must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any Department of Defense contract. This can be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov/vendor.cfm.
