Description

JA advance notice This is notice is posted IAW the attached justification. Please see attached. The Library of Congress, National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS) works with 104 cooperating network libraries within the United States and US territories. NLS has established standards of service for each network library to achieve. ASCLA has published these standards in 1967, 1979, 1984, 1995, 2005, and 2011. The latest version of these standards were finalized in 2017. NLS requires 150 copies of the "Revised Standards and Guidelines of Service for the Library of Congress Network of Libraries for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, 2017". Copies are only available from the Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies (ASCLA), a division of the American Library Association. The vendor shall supply NLS with 150 copies of Revised Standards and Guidelines of Service for the Library of Congress Network of Libraries for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, 2017. This will contract includes the cost of shipping the materials to NLS.
