- This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to provide the pre-solicitation synopsis for Project 170011, Interior and Exterior Repairs, Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ) FC515, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The work includes a complete renovation of BEQ FC515 to include a construction of a new pitched roof with asphalt shingles, installation of new architectural features throughout (floors, ceilings, doors, windows, paint, etc.), replacement of the mechanical, electrical, and telecommunications systems, installation of new plumbing fixtures, installation of a new fire suppression system, and incidental related work. The project will be procured utilizing sealed bidding procedures (FAR Part 14). The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 and the annual size standard is $36.5M. The proposed contract will be set-aside 100% for small businesses. The Government will only accept offers from small business concerns. The estimated price range is between $5M and $10M. The project completion date will be 420 days after contract award. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. Bidders shall submit with their offer a bid bond of $3M or 20% of the value of the work classified under the Wage Rate Requirements (Construction) Act, whichever is less.
