Description
SPRWA1-18-R-00020 This requirement will be solicited on a sole source basis to Honeywell Inc. (Cage Code: 58960) the OEM. A written RFP will be issued. The anticipated Date of Award is 30 Sep 2018. This requirement is for the acquisition of only one replenishment spare part in support of the F-15 Aircraft). 0001 : NSN: 6610-01-432-8459FCX; Part Number: 2118952-5, Noun: PROCESSOR,FLIGHT IN; TO #: 1F-15E-4-4, End Item: F-15E Aircraft, Length: 9.5 Ins., Width: 6.2 Ins., Height: 6.5 Ins., Weight: 15.5 Lbs., Predominant Material of Manufacture: Metal box with circuit cards and wires, Form/Fit/Function Description: The processor accepts input from the aircraft free stream pitot-static pressure system. The required quantity for each Ordering Period is outlined below: Ordering Period I: 11 Ordering Period II: 1 - 10 Ordering Period III: 1 - 10 Ordering Period IV: 1 - 10 Ordering Period V: 1 - 10 Estimated Delivery: 18 Months after award; Ship To: SW3119; F.O.B: Origin; Inspection and Acceptance: Origin. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered as ongoing market research by the agency. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and/or ongoing market research. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
