- This is a synopsis for noncommercial items posted in accordance with FAR 13.105 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to purchase, on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), Bulkhead Receptacles on a Firm Fixed Price basis from Teledyne D.G. O'Brien, CAGE Code: 17476. The components are designed and tested based on Teledyne D.G. O'Brien's proprietary drawings. Improper material or construction of these components from another manufacturer could result in a loss of functionality or damage. This is intended as a sole source requirement and will be solicited as unrestricted under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 334417 as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The size standard is 1,000 employees. The Government's anticipated CLIN structure is as follows: CLIN 0001: Bulkhead Receptacle, P/N 0081A0273-1, Quantity: 15 Each CLIN 0002: Bulkhead Receptacle, P/N: 0081C0153-1, Quantity: 50 Each CLIN 0003: Bulkhead Receptacle, P/N: 0081C0153-2, Quantity: 50 Each CLIN 0004: Data, Quantity: 1 Lot, Not Separately Priced (NSP) The anticipated delivery date is 18 May 2018, F.O.B. Destination, Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. The anticipated release date of Request for Quote (RFQ) Number N66604-18-Q-1192 is 23 February 2018 and will be posted for less than 30 days in accordance with FAR 5.203(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Offers for other products must contain complete product information and prices. Additional details will be released upon issuance of RFQ Number N66604-18-Q-1192.
