- Redmond Air Center (RAC) Snow Plowing/Removal Services: This work consists of one Base Year and four Option Years for the plowing and removing of snow from the Redmond Air Center on the Deschutes National Forest in accordance with the Maintenance Requirements for Snow Removal. This includes: snow plowing the roadways at the Redmond Air Center, RAG Ramp (as needed), the Cache 1 and 2 areas, and walkways to the Administration Building. The Training and Regional Aviation Group Building's shall be cleared of snow. All snow plowing/removal shall adhere to commercial standards. Contractor is required to furnish all fuel, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, materials, and incidentals to complete the project work. The Government will be responsible for monitoring and determining when plowing shall be completed (anytime during the year). A determination for services will be made when, 3" (inches) or more of snow has accumulated at the project site and which specific area(s) snow plowing/removal services are needed. Contractor shall contact the COR regularly to check snow depths of the project area and for authorization prior to conducting any snow plowing maintenance. Once authorization has been given by the COR or Contracting Officer; Contractor shall plow the designated areas that were requested at that time. All removed snow shall be placed in non-traffic areas as directed by the COR. Each snow plowing/removal request will be issued verbally and designated to meet the specific snow removal requirements within the scope of this contract by the COR or Contracting Officer. This project is estimated to be posted on or around: February 14th, 2018.
