Description

The Southeast Regional Maintenance Center is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in and the resources to support the upcoming Continuous Maintenance Availability (CMAV) onboard USS TORNADO (PC 14). This is neither a solicitation nor request for proposal. The Government will use responses from this sources sought synopsis to make a decision about soliciting this requirement. It does not obligate the Government to any contract award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611. Interested parties must have or be able to obtain an Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) prior to contract award. The Government's market research is based on FAR Part 10 and the result of the market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Telephone or Fax inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluation will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above requirement are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice. Please provide the following information in your response: Organization Name, CAGE Code, email address, website, telephone number, and, size and type of ownership for the organization.
