Only one source reasonably available has been identified as meeting the Government's requirements for co-operability with other agencies and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All participating agencies must utilize the same technology to ensure the data collected is consistent and the reporting meaningful. Award is anticipated to be made to Advanced Telemetry Systems, 470 First Ave NW Isanti, MN 55040. Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District is issuing this sole source announcement for the purchase of 60 JSATS acoustic transmitter SS400, 20 12-cell battery (100-day) housings for Trident SR3000 Acoustic Receiver, 50 12-cell battery packs for SR3000; 50 6-cell battery packs for SR3000; 4 replacement hydrophones for Trident SR3000 Acoustic Receiver. The required hydro-acoustic equipment is necessary for implementation of telemetric monitoring of fish movement to support the development of a fish behavioral model for the Sacramento River Bank Protection Project and calibrate the Standard Assessment Methodology model. The fish behavioral model is being developed to support compliance with terms and conditions of Biological Opinions from the National Marine Fisheries Service. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract is based solely within the discretion of the Government.
