- THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR REVIEWING AND PRINTING IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS. BRIDGEPORT RD WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION-HUMBOLDT-TOIYABE NATIONAL FOREST The project includes construction of a new water treatment system for the administrative site. Demolition work includes: Removing the existing well pump and controls. Removing the exiting utility box. Removing portions of the existing waterline. Work includes the following: Installing a new packaged coagulation/filtration water treatment system and booster pump. Installing a new building to house the treatment system. Installing utility connections to the new building: electrical, water, communications and wastewater for the backwash system. Grading around the building and installing new exterior concrete slabs. Installing a new septic tank and drainfield (for backwash water). Installing a new well screen in the existing well. Installing a new well pump and controls. PROJECT LOCATION The Bridgeport administrative site is on the Bridgeport Ranger District of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. It is located in Mono County, California, approximately 1 mile North and 3-1/2 miles West of Bridgeport, California (approximately 4 miles by road from Bridgeport along U.S. Highway 395). It is located at approx. Latitude 38°16'37.36"N, Longitude 119°17'20.64"W, and in the SE 1/4 of Section 23, T5N, R24E, at an elevation of approximately 6600 feet.
