- This is a Sources Sought Notice ONLY. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ or IFB or RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Governmentwide Point of Entry. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the Governmentwide Point of Entry for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The anticipated NAICS code(s) is/are: 237310 Size Standard $36,500,000.00. The Mission and Installation Contract Command Center, Fort McCoy, Wisconsin is conducting market research in order to determine the availability and capability of companies to complete the below referenced project. Project: Maintain Airfield Markings in Los Alamitos, California. This project shall consist of but is not limited to remove old markings from the airfield and provide new markings for 21 Grounding Points, 84 Tie-Down Points, 18 helicopters and 4 Fixed-Wing parking spaces. All taxi ways and the Fire Line need marking. New markings must meet color specification set by SAE-AMS-STD-595. The contractor shall apply reflective white, yellow and red paint and ensure paint and materials are applied properly and in compliance with ETL 1110-3-512 pg. A-2-A-1. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought or any follow up information requests. Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center's determination on how to complete the proposed requirement will be based on responses to this notice and is at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. The project magnitude for this requirement is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. Responses shall include the following; 1) Reference Sources Sought Number 2) Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number, CAGE code, a statement regarding small business status (including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) and the corresponding NAICS code. 3) Information in sufficient detail regarding previous experience (indicate whether as a prime contractor or subcontractor) on similar requirements (include size, scope, complexity, timeframe, government or commercial), pertinent certifications, etc., that will facilitate making a capability determination.
