- Solicitation for IAAFA The 410th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB), Regional Contracting Center (RCC), Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston, TX has a requirement for non-personal services to provide lodging, on-site meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, morning and afternoon coffee breaks, conference room facilities, and audiovisual (AV) equipment in support of the Inter-American Air Forces Academy (IAAFA), Western Hemisphere Exchange Symposium (WHES). Place of Performance: San Antonio, TX Period of Performance: The period of performance of the resultant contract will be from 13-17 March 2018. Type of Set-Aside: The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 721110, Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels, with a small business standard size of $32.5M. The Product Service Code is V231, Lodging - Hotel/Motel. This requirement will be issued as 100% small business set-aside. Contract Type: The Government intends to award a single award, firm fixed price contract to fulfill this requirement. Contract Award Evaluation Criteria: The Government will award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the lowest priced responsible offeror, whose offer conforms to the solicitation in accordance with FAR Part 13. Award is contingent upon force protection inspections and that the hotel must be located no more than 15 miles from Lackland Air Force Base, TX. SAM Registration: All offerors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award of a contract. Offerors can obtain further information on SAM via the web site at https://www.sam.gov. There is NO fee to register for this site. Closing Response Date: The solicitation will be available on or about 8 February 2018 with an anticipated quote due date of 20 February 2018. Solicitation posting and closing dates are subject to change as necessary, and amendments will be issued accordingly. All potential offerors should monitor the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov for further developments. Upon issuance of the solicitation, all responsible sources may submit a quote that shall be considered by the Contracting Officer. The solicitation closes and quotes are due on 20 February 2018 at 4:00 PM CST. Interested offerors are encouraged to review FAR 52.212-1 Addendum of the solicitation. In particular, if interested offerors have any questions about the solicitation, refer to paragraph (m) of the Addendum. Also, review FAR 52.212-2 Addendum for the basis of award.
