- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTIFICATION This is a Sources Sought Notice announcement; market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. Any requests for a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The US Army Medical Command, Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Fort Carson Health Contracting Cell is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties that have an interest in and the resources to provide Excimer Laser and Femtosecond Laser products listed below for William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, Texas: 1. Custom Vue 10TX Addedvue Pac 2. IFLAP US (patient interface). This item enables creation of the eye LASIK flap. 3. Calibration Card Note: The Government owns the Excimer Laser and Femtosecond Laser. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 339115 - "Ophthalmic Goods Manufacturing". The Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. All interested businesses must be registered in the Central Contractor's Registration (CCR) through the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to be eligible for award of Government contracts. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES, PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION OR SOLE SOURCE. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. If your organization has the potential capacity to provide supplies stated above, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size (small versus large business) and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational capability.
