- NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities, as may be required to repair and/or modify the ordered quantities of the items specified in this document. The items are to be repaired and/or modified under this agreement are set forth by manufactures part numbers and constitute as Government Property as defined in FAR clause 52.245-1 Government Property or 52.245-1 Alternate I, as applicable. All of these items are in support of the F-18 Flight Control Surfaces NAVSUP WSS is also seeking to determine if there are any commercial items (CI) or non-developmental items (NDI) that will satisfy the repair needs for this forthcoming procurement. In addition, NAVSUP WSS is seeking any eligible small business firms including service-disabled veteran owned small businesses, certified HUBZonme small businesses, and certified 8(a) capable of performing these repairs. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. Eligible contractors shall provide a submission to Jennifer.McCaffrey@navy.mil no later than 22 January 2018 that includes: 1) Company Name and Cage Code 2) Describe whether your company is capable of providing repairs for these items. 3) Is your company a Small Business? If so, what type of Small Business? 4) Company POC The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by 22 January 2018 will be considered by the Government. Source Approval is required. WSS may not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your response, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair.
