The market research request has been added below. This is a Sources Sought (SS)/Market Research announcement and a Notice of Intent. This market survey is for information, to be used for preliminary planning purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10, Market Research. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The U.S. Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to award a period of performance extension on Contract W56KGY-17-F-0001 with Wyle Laboratories, Inc. 7800 HWY 20 W, Huntsville, AL 35806-2049 in order to allow for a logical follow-on. The period of performance extension is for twelve (12) months with an option to extend for an additional six (6) months, with an anticipated start date of 02 MARCH 2018. This effort is for Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to Include Logistic, Engineering, Technical, Programmatic and Field Engineering Support Services in support of Software Engineering Center (SEC) for Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors Directorate (IEW&S-D). The replies to this market research will be used to assess whether or not competition is viable for this effort. Attached is the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS), dated 10 January 2018. The requirement defined in the attached PWS has been identified by the cognizant Government activity as a potential ceiling increase to General Services Administration (GSA), One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) contract, W56KGY-17-F-0001. As such, the undersigned has determined that research of the market is necessary to decide the best course of action for the Government. This market research does not obligate the Government in any way, nor does it commit the Government to any specific course of action. The costs of preparing the Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) and the schedule will NOT be reimbursable, and you are advised to consider this in your replies. Please review the attached PWS and follow the steps outlined below: 1. Provide your notice of interest via the email within 2 business day of receipt of this message (COB FRIDAY, 12 JANUARY 2018). 2. If your organization does have an interest, please provide a ROM and a realistic schedule of performance via email prior to 4:00 PM EDT on Tuesday, 16 JANUARY 2018. Any ROM and schedule received shall be evaluated by the Government Task Leader or Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to aid in the determination of the best course of action for the Government.
