- UPDATE: 12 JANUARY 2018 At this time, the Government has decided to place this acquisition on hold and does not have an estimation as to when this requirement may be fulfilled. __________________________________________________________________ This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) only. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Human Systems Program Office (AFLCMC/WNU) is conducting a market assessment to identify potential sources and companies that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to respond to the requirements listed in this document. AFLCMC is issuing this SSS for the Aircrew Search and Rescue Radio (ASARR) to explore cost effective options to provide this capability and to obtain valuable feedback in regards to the attached Requirements Matrix. AFLCMC does not plan to release another SSS. Potential vendors are invited to present their proposed devices at the upcoming SAFE Conference (30 October - 1 November).
