The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking manufacturer or authorized distributors of the following equipment or equivalent: Hill Rom Navicare Nurse Call System The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, engineering design, and supervision to design, manufacture, and deliver this equipment. Design and delivery shall be coordinated with the Service Point of Contact Personnel, to be revealed after contract award has been determined. PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS: The System is built from the ground up to integrate with our other new ward installations, utilizing a flexible, open, Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) design to simplify and accelerate integration and data sharing between clinical systems. Installation Monday Friday 8:30-AM 4:30 PM, freight, staff in-service training, and a one-year warranty/service agreement (five year equipment warranty on most Hill-Rom equipment). • Each patient room will include Hallway Dome light, Standard Audio Station with Code Blue and Staff Emergency button per two beds and Bed Connector with Pillow Speaker per bed. • Patient TV s and Lighting fixtures will only be connected if the existing Pillow Speaker currently controls these devices. • Installer will tent hallway ceilings while installing cable. Patient rooms will be vacated during the installation and as a result patient rooms will not be tented. • The Power-over-Ethernet Switches require connectivity to the NaviCare Server via facility network existing VLAN. POE switches required for the 7C Nursing Unit will be installed in the 7C IT Closet. The component is top of the line in quality and replacement parts are locally available to the customer throughout the United States. Kingsbridge Road Bronx, New York 10468 CODES: Vendor shall comply with accepted manufacturer process, as well as current Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Labor Department, and New York codes, laws and regulations as applicable to this statement of work. FINAL INSPECTION: All material delivered must meet specifications provided and will be inspected by Operations Supervisor.
