- This is a notification that the 109th Air Wing (AW) Base Contracting Office, Stratton Air National Guard Base, Scotia, NY 12302, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" to COUNTY OF SCHENECTADY for providing Air Traffic Control Services for the shared runway at Schenectady County Airport. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561990, with a size standard of $11M. This notice is not a request for quotations. The contractor identified owns the Airport and Air Traffic Control Tower and is therefore the only available source for the subject requirement. Reponses to this notification will be used to determine if bona fide competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical information. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
