- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued. Submit offers on RFQ-RML-C-1885549.. This solicitation is a request for quotes (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-94 & 2005-95, effective 1/19/17. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 with a small business size standard of 1000. This is not a total small business set aside. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Bethesda, Maryland campus is seeking to purchase: • Veterinary specific benchtop hematology analyzer package to include computer monitor, mouse, and keyboard. Software needs to auto-update when connected to the internet. • The analyzer must be able to provide absolute full 5 part white blood cell differentials • The analyzer must be able to identify banded neutrophils and nucleated red blood cell (nRBC's) • The analyzer must be able to perform absolute reticulocyte counts • Must declare the place of manufacture • Quotes must include estimated delivery time, warranty, and shipping costs, installation and training by a cerified technician FOB Point shall be Destination: NIH/NIAID Laboratory of Bacteriology 50 South Drive Room 6152 Bethesda, Maryland 20892 Place of Performance: NIH/NIAID Laboratory of Bacteriology 50 South Drive, BLDG 50, room 6152 Bethesda, Maryland 20892. Award will be based on the capability of the item offered to meet the above stated salient characteristics, price, delivery, warranty, past performance, and the best value to the government. This is an open-market combined synopsis/solicitation for a veterinary specific benchtop hematology analyzer. The government intends to award a purchase order as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein.
