- Contractor Capability Survey Performance-Based Work Statement C-5 HONEYWELL SOFTWARE AND ENGINEERING SUPPORT (HSES) IN SUPPORT OF THE C-5 AIRCRAFT PURPOSE: As required by DFARS PGI 206.302-1(d), this market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the engineering services requirements for the USAF C-5 Honeywell Software and Engineering Support (HSES). DESCRIPTION: Honeywell Software and Engineering Support (HSES) are required in support of the C-5 fleet. This Request For Information (RFI) is required to identify potential sources that can provide software and hardware support for the C-5 aircraft modified by the Reliability Enhancement and Re-Engining Program (RERP). The Honeywell Software and Engineering Support (HSES) contract will provide hardware/software support for the development of software baselines for future modification programs, Deficiency Report (DR) investigations and corrections for Honeywell-owned software partitions, Reverse Engineering/Prototyping, Formal Qualification Testing, and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS)/Obsolescence Support. The contract period of performance of this effort will be from 2018 - 2024 with an estimated total contract value of $78.79 million. The contractor must have the ability to provide support to all of the elements listed above. INSTRUCTIONS: 1. If, after reviewing these documents, you desire to participate in the market research, you should provide documentation that supports your company's capability in meeting these requirements. Failure to provide documentation may result in the government being unable to adequately assess your capabilities. If you lack sufficient experience in a particular area, please provide details explaining how you would overcome the lack of experience/capabilities in order to perform that portion of the requirement (i.e., teaming, subcontracting, etc.) 2. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this market research. Joint ventures or teaming arrangements are encouraged. 3.
