- This notice is for informational purposes only. This is a pre-solicitation notice in accordance with FAR 5.204, to publicize the planned sole source procurement for technical support services for the AN/TSQ-179 (V) 2 Tactical Ground Stations (TGS)/Joint Services Work Station (JSWS) to include Field Service Representative (FSR) support services via site visits, telephone, emails, and written documents for the Communication-Electronics Command (CECOM) Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) on a Firm- Fixed-Price basis, and travel on a Cost no fee reimbursement basis. Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) Intelligence Electronic Warfare & Sensors (IEW&S) Division requires technical support services for the AN/TSQ-179 (V) 2 Tactical Ground Stations (TGS)/Joint Services Work Station (JSWS). The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to award a sole source, twelve month purchase order in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The sole source procurement will be negotiated with and serviced by General Dynamics Mission Systems, Inc. as they are the sole provider, repairer, and original equipment manufacturer for TGS/JSWS. The Government does not possess a Technical Data Package (TDP) for TGS/JSWS. The technical data for this item is proprietary to General Dynamics Mission Systems, Inc. The place of performance will be at the contractor's facility. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 334511 and the Product Service Code (PSC) is L058. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a request for proposal (RFP). This is NOT a request for proposals, is NOT an authorization to begin work, and does NOT commit the Government to purchase any services. No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of the submission of information in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A pre-solicitation conference is not planned.
