- FIBERGLASS AQUACULTURE TANKS (24 EACH) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All questions must be sent directly to capplegate@usgs.gov by 01/18/2018. Contractor is responsible for reading the contents of this document and attachments. Quotes will be accepted via e-mail at capplegate@usgs.gov or FAX to (206) 526-6654. Quotes submitted through FedBizOps or FedConnect will not be considered. The solicitation number is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) 140G0318Q0026. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-96, Effective 06 Nov 2017. Small Business Set-Aside NAICS: 326191; Plastics/Plumbing Fixture Manufacturing; Size Standard = 750 Employees Description of Supplies: The USGS - Marrowstone Marine Station is in need of fiberglass aquaculture tanks (24 each) as described in the specifications. The Government seeks competitive firm fixed price quotes to meet or exceed the following minimum technical specifications for these tanks. In addition to a quote, as per FAR 52.212-1, offerers are to include a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation.
