- Amendment to Solicitation to extend the close date NOTICE OF SOLICITATION - Competitive Small Business 100% Set-Aside Amendment to Extend Close Date - Due to number of Questions: **Please check for Questions and Answers to be posted in Early January 2018** This is to inform prospective vendors that Solicitation number FA3010-18-R-0002 has hereby been posted. See attachments as uploaded to this notice. Solicitation # FA3010-18-R-0002 Class Code: R699 NAICS Code: 621999 Description: PATIENT APPOINTMENT SERVICES- Non Personal Service This notice serves to announce the intent of the 81st Contracting Squadron to issue a solicitation for Patient Appointment Services on a non-personal services basis to support the Keesler Medical Center located at Keesler Air Force Base, MS. Contractor personnel shall work to support the Keesler Medical Center, Keesler Air Force Base (KAFB) MS. The Contractor shall provide experienced and qualified representative members with excellent communication and customer service skills in a telephone setting. To supply all necessary equipment and patient appointing service personnel to conduct appointment services for Keesler Medical Center. Additionally, the contractor shall monitor, manage and report on appointing metrics for higher management and develop plans to improve overall Keesler Medical Center performance for access to care compliance. The projected period of performance will consist of a base year beginning on 24 January 2018 through 30 September 2018 and four (4) one year options, not to exceed 62 months. This competitive acquisition is set aside 100% for Small Business. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 621999 and the small business size is $15.0 Million. The requirement will be solicited as a commercial service using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR 13.5. The government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the solicitation. Contractors eligible for award must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award with any DOD agency. Registration may be accomplished at website, http://www.sam.gov. Contractors must also submit their representations and certifications. After award all invoices shall be electronically submitted via Wide Area Work Flow. Registration and invoicing may be accomplished at https://wawf.eb.mil/. The performance work statement will be posted with the solicitation. The solicitation will be available to download via http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 20 November 2017. The solicitation may be posted earlier or later. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor the website for solicitation release, postings, changes and amendments, and closing date. No paper copies of the synopsis or solicitation will be available and no verbal responses will be accepted. Proposal questions will only be accepted once the solicitation is posted; all proposal questions must be in writing and answers will be posted for all interested parties to review.
