- Synopsis: BUILDING RENOVATIONS SOURCES SOUGHT. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for building renovations which, include but are not limited to: Space reconfiguration complete with new walls and wall, floor, and ceiling finishes, HVAC, fire suppression, plumbing, electrical, and communications systems modification and reconfiguration. Provide facility built to ICD 705 standards. Add Turnstiles, concrete sidewalk, concrete pad and fill in roll up garage door wall. Optional work will include installing equipment racks, patch panels, cable trays, communications conduit, communications outlets and telecommunications equipment. The construction cost magnitude is Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All interested Small Businesses are urged to respond to this notice. This notice is for planning purposes only. Texas Air National Guard Base, 147 Attack Wing Ellington Field JRB, Houston, TX intends to issue a solicitation and award one firm fixed priced contract. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing via email, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 4 Jan 2018. This notification, which shall not exceed five type written pages and must include (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor (2) A listing of projects completed during the past three years of similar type work, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (3) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for competition, this project may be advertised as unrestricted.
