- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Rock Island District is seeking System for Award Management (SAM) Database registered businesses that can provide the following: Textile Fully Lined Gabion Baskets This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. NO AWARD will be made from this Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a request for proposal or quote or an invitation for bid. Particularly, the purpose of this NOTICE is to gain knowledge of potential System for Award Management (SAM) Database registered businesses interested and capable of providing Textile Lined Gabion Baskets that meet or exceed the attached specifications. In addition to the supplies that will be required under this contract, Technical Advisory (TA) services will be required. Services provided shall include training on proper setup, utilization during an event and teardown/repackaging after the event. TA services will be provided to local, state and federal entities identified by the USACE Point of Contact (POC). The USACE POC shall oversee and coordinate the TA services. TA services may be requested at any time, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. SUBMISSION DETAILS: All interested, responsive and responsible System for Award Management (SAM) Database registered small businesses are encouraged to participate in this market research by emailing the required information below to the point of contact listed above. Interested businesses must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database at www.sam.gov. Email submissions are required. Interested businesses shall include the following information to be considered for market research purposes. 1. Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address and cage code 2. Manufacturing facility location 3. Product literature (i.e. specifications) 4. Capabilities statement indicating the contractor can meet the specification requirements for lined gabion baskets 5. Delivery lead time for 2 miles of textile lined gabion baskets 6. Company's interest in bidding/proposing on the solicitation when issued 7. Company's business category and size 8. Estimated number of qualified Technical Advisors (at least 3 years' experience with the product) personnel available to deploy to the field 9. Provide Past Performance information specific to flood fight operations, hurricane protection, CPARS, questionnaires, referrals, etc. 10. Address capability to supply fully lined product - Provide spec sheet 11. Provide overview of maintained stock and storage locations. 12. If the Government requires a follow on delivery what is your company's ability to support? - Turnaround times - Quantities
