- Ground Hole Location Information Included The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to seek qualified vendors whom have the capability to manufacture and supply 25 each 35 feet, steel utility distribution poles. This requirement is to support operations at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, OK. This RFI is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any supplies, or for the Government to pay for the information received. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this RFI or any follow up information requested. Consequently, no solicitation is being issued at this time. Therefore, no award will be made as a result of providing this information. Shredder requirements are as follows: Class and Length: Class 3 and 35 feet Bearing Attachment: Standard butt plate and POSI Ground Grounding: Standard location (2ft above ground line, 2ft below pole top Standard 0.50< Insert (i.e. rivnut) Below Ground Protection: Full Embedment Climbing: None Grounding Hole Location: (Rivnut) SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENT The applicable small business size standard is 500. The NAICS code for this requirement is 332312 Interested contractors must provide the following information with your response: a. Model numbers, catalog pricing, specifications of pole that meet the criteria b. Lead time (Manufacture to Delivery) c. Company Name, CAGE code, point of contact, phone number, and email address This market survey is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the US Government. All information submitted will be held in a close hold status. The contractor shall provide all information requested in this notification no later than (NLT) 3:00 PM, January 9, 2018 by electronic mail at no cost to the Government, to the Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI), ATTN: Stanley L.
