This announcement is not a request for quotes or proposals but all responsible sources may submit a proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract with only one source, L-3 Communications. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-95. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 335999, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION is seeking to purchase a Fiber Optic Transmitter 18GHZ, Fiber Optic Receiver, 19" Rack Mount Frame for E1 Enclosures. All responsible sources may submit a proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency for the following: L-3 Communications is the sole supplier of the following items: •1. Fiber Optic Transmitter 18GHZ, p/n SCMT-18G-E1, 1 ea. •2. Fiber Optic Receiver, p/n SCMR-18G-E1, 1 ea. •3. 19" Rack mount Frame for E1 Enclosures, p/n 188550, 1 ea. •4. Shipping Delivery shall be provided no later than 13 weeks after receipt of order/award of contract". Specify delivery terms-FOB origin or destination-and any special delivery requirements ].
