- REQUEST FOR QUOTE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION #: N00178-18-Q-0021 Su bmitted by: Sharon Kharab NAI CS Code: 541713 PSC Code: AJ32 Anticipated Date to be published in FBO: 28 December 2017 Anticipated Closing Date: 5 January 2018 Contracts POC Name: Sharon Kharab Telephone#: 540-653-5569 Email Address: sharon.kharab@navy.mil Code and Description: A – RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis/Solicitation N00178-18-Q-0021 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole source basis to the University of North Dakota (UND); continued support for Cloud Measurements under the CSPE2015 Data Set Project. UND located in Grand Forks, North Dakota. See the SOW attached within the SF18 for additional information. Please include shipping/freight cost to Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Quote is due 5 January 2018, no later than 1:00 p.m. EST with an anticipated award date by 5 February 2018.
