- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 3, Bloomington, MN intends to award a sole source firm fixed price Blanket Purchase Agreement under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Other than Full and Open Competition procedures, and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition procedures to DLP Marquette Physician Practices, Inc., Marquette, MI. This requirement is to provide medical surveillance exams for sea lamprey control workers to monitor the health effects of exposure to the chemicals used in controlling sea lamprey populations in the Great Lakes. Medical Services will be provided to employees duty stationed at Marquette, Michigan. DLP Marquette Physician practices, Inc. has been providing medical services for the sea lamprey control program since its inception. Maintaining consistency in regards to reviewing and maintaining medical records for the program over time is an integral part of the sea lamprey medical program because early indications of chemical exposure must be identified so preventive measures can be taken. The North American Industry classification (NAICS) code is 621399, and the size standard is $7.5 million. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, firms with expressed interest and capability are encouraged to respond by 01/02/2017. This notice is for informational purposes only. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
