- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR: Project 585-335: Expand CLC Construction at Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center, 325 East H Street, Iron Mountain, MI 49801. This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small Business (SDVOSBs). The project includes: an addition of 11,000 square feet to the northwest corner of the existing CLC, renovation of approximately 3,900 square feet of existing space on the first floor, approximately 1,300 square foot addition to the Basement level as outlined in the contract specifications and as shown on the contract drawings. Work includes, but not limited to, architectural, site, structural, fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, earthwork, and other aspects of construction as required by the drawings and specifications. The work also involves, but not limited to, demolition of the existing architectural, site, plumbing, fire protection, mechanical and electrical work. Time for completion is 542 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps.gov. There will be a pre-bid site visit held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid site conference will be included in the solicitation package. The solicitation for this project will be issued on/or about January 15th, 2018 with the bid opening on/about February 14th, 2018. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps.gov which may be issued to this solicitation. The project magnitude range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $36.5 Million applies. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006, Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms. The SDVOSB must be registered with and verified by the Center for Verification and Evaluation http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, (CVE) prior to submission of an offer, and verified in the following websites: https://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award.
