- Description
- This is a Pre-Award Synopsis for the Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI), which serves as notification to industry, the Government's intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority FAR 6.302-1 in support of Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) for PEO Engineering Support. This action will be a single Firm-Fixed-Price award for an Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract. The period of performance shall not exceed 17 months. A sole source contract to NES Associates, LLC is imperative to keep vital power projection and mission enabling projects on schedule supporting CONUS and OCONUS locations. Efforts are continuous and there is currently no other contractor that can provide these requirements without disruption to these critical programs. The Army cannot lose momentum or the institutional knowledge required to complete the critical projects on time. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541512 (Computer Systems Design Services). This is not a request for offers. A determination not to compete this procurement, based upon response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
