Description
The NSWCCD - Detachment Norfolk, Combatant Craft Division (CCD) will host a Summit at Joint Expeditionary Base (JEB) Little Creek, Virginia Beach, VA on February 7, 2018 from 0800 until approximately 1230 hours. The Combatant Craft Division is the U.S. Navy's center for research and development, engineering, design, acquisition, testing, logistics, and in-service support for the U.S. Navy, Department of Defense agencies, and foreign partners' boats and crafts. Pre-registration: This event is open to U.S. citizens only. Pre-registration is required and limited to two (2) representatives per company due to limited space. A maximum of 130 attendees has been established (65 companies). Register at: https://combatant-craft-division-summit2018.eventbrite.com. Registration closes on 19 January 2018. You will receive notification if your registration takes place once capacity has been reached. Please do the following when registering : 1.) Inform us if you need base access or not. Those individuals that do not have base access will be contacted for additional information that will be submitted to JEB Little Creek’s security office. 2.) Forward questions you may have for program and/or contracting personnel to help ensure the answers are meaningful. 3.) Visit the following link for specific visitor-related information : https://cnic.navy.mil/regions/cnrma/installations/jeb_little_creek_fort_story/about/visitor_information.html. What to Expect: A wealth of information will be presented that should give industry members a thorough understanding of future requirements, how to do business, or more business, with the CCD, opportunities to network, amongst others. Time will be afforded for questions and answers as well. No refreshments will be served, so plan accordingly. Any general questions related to this event must be submitted via email to Christopher.Jones7@navy.mil with "CCD Summit" in the subject line. Day of Event: On-site check-in will begin at 0800 hours. Opening remarks will begin at 0900. Please allow at least 30 minutes for security screening to enter JEB Little Creek. A Government issued photo ID (e.g. driver's license) will be required to enter the event location.
