- Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract Modification Visual Information and Production Centers This is a notification that the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) intends to extend a sole source, cost-plus-fixed-fee "bridge" contract modification under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Agency Requirements. This contract will be awarded to Harlan Lee & Associates LLC, 8229 Boone Blvd, Suite 610, Vienna, VA 22182-2635, to provide uninterrupted, high-quality continuity of support for the Agency's Visual Information and Production Centers (VIPC). This effort is currently being performed under contract number HQ0147-17-C-0020, which expires on 06 February 2018. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541611, with a size standard of $15M. The resultant contract modification for these advisory and assistance services will be for a base period of six (6) months with two (2) three-month (3) option periods. This notice is not a request for proposals. This action will result in an extension to the existing "bridge" contract which is necessary to allow for continuity of critical contractor services until a competitive contract is awarded under the Technical Engineering, Advisory, and Management Support (TEAMS) acquisition strategy. Any information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for enhancing competition in a future competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All responses must be received no later than January 08, 2017, 2:00 pm, central time and should be submitted to Lionel Nadeau, Contracting Officer, via email at lionel.nadeau@mda.mil and Denise Mikelson, Contract Specialist, at denise.mikelson@mda.mil.
