- Solicitation The Library of Congress (Library) requires contract support to produce the braille version of the newsletter "News" for users of the braille and talking book program, which is administered by the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS/BPH). The text content must be transliterated to braille from print files or pages, proofed for accuracy, duplicated using a press or embosser, bound, mailed to subscribers and shipped to three NLS warehouses in the continental U.S. under the U.S. Postal Service Free Matter for the Blind and Physically Handicapped regulation, and uploaded (as a BRF file) to the NLS Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) website. The period performance of this award will be five years (one base year and four option years).
