- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. This is not a solicitation announcement. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. No proposals are being requested or accepted at this time. The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is seeking contractors with a minimum of ten (10) years specialized experience installing field erected chillers, cooling tower rehabilitation, integrating new work into existing operating facility, constructing and installing individual chillers larger than 2,500 ton field erected chillers, completing complex cooling tower (12,500 gpm) rehabilitations, large bore pipe construction, electric distribution and elevator replacement. The location of the work is within the Capitol Power Plant West Refrigeration Plant (WRP). The magnitude of work for this project is between $15,000,000 to $30,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this acquisition is 238220. Prior Government contract work is not required for submitting a response under this sources sought notice. Offerors response to this Synopsis shall be limited to 5-pages (11 point font minimum) and shall include the following information: Offerors name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, capability to perform a contract of this magnitude and complexity and sufficient information which demonstrates the ability to fulfill the requirement. The submission shall include a description of a minimum of three projects completed within the past ten years for large projects similar to the work identified above. Standard brochures will not be considered a sufficient response to this notice. Interested offerors should submit an electronic copy of the requested information to Carmelita E. Wesley, at cwesle@aoc.gov no later than January 19, 2018. No feedback or evaluations will be provided regarding the information submitted.
