- PR# 11081172 Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist and if this effort can be successfully competed and/or set-aside for Small Businesses. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 - Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, FSC - J065, Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment and Supplies, Size Standard: $20.5 mil. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all large and small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran- Owned, HubZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central, JBSA, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is seeking potential sources to perform maintenance, repair, and parts by trained/certified engineers for all instrumentation manufactured Pyxis products sold by CareFusion. This is a new requirement with an anticipated period of performance is 1 January 2018 - 30 September 2018. This is not a solicitation. This information is for planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Contractors responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response does not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The Government will not reimburse any company or individual for any expense associated with preparation or participation in this research. Interested parties should e-mail responses to gregory.s.knight.civ@mail.mil by the date identified below. Contractor responses should include: 1. The size of your business with regard to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811219 per the standard described in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.102 (FAR available at http://farsite.hill.af.mil). 2. Recommended Bid schedule (Contract Line item) and invoicing recommendations 3. Company name, DUNS, CAGE, Contact information including phone number and email. 4. Specifically identify whether your company is capable of providing the following;  Must be able to provide all preventative maintenance and calibration on monthly basis in accordance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM).  Must be able to provide replacement parts from OEM.  Must be able to provide technical support via telephone 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, and be on-site within 8 hours in the event of an emergency (e.g., both medical dispensers go down)  Must be able to provide OEM specified modifications and software upgrades 5. Provide certification that the offeror is authorized to perform maintenance on Pyxis equipment. 6. Submit your response no later than 22 December 2017 by 04:00 p.m. CST.
