Description
This Special Notice is not a request for proposals. Contractors shall not submit proposals in response to this notice. The Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) is issuing this Special Notice to provide estimated timelines for this procurement that had the sources sought number, W91CRB-18-R-SETA. ACC-APG anticipates posting the solicitation with all documents and attachments by the end of the 2nd Quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 2018. The SETA contract basis of award will be trade-off (Technical, Past Performance, Small Business, Cost), resulting in up to two (2) indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts. The final solicitation will govern all terms and conditions. We do not anticipate conducting an industry day. SETA SERVICE SCOPE: PEO Soldier seeks the continuity of these critical SETA services to include logistics and fielding services to enable successful completion of its mission for the Warfighter. The services required under this effort are diverse, require agile and rapid response to seamlessly accomplish all the support tasks required for Headquarters (HQs) staff and three (3) project management (PM) offices located at Fort Belvoir, VA as well as numerous other locations. This is a follow-on procurement for both SETA and logistics and fielding services to support PEO Soldier headquarters and three (3) of its subordinate PMs: Project Manager Soldier Sensors and Lasers (PM SSL), Project Manager Soldier Protection and Individual Equipment (PM SPIE), and Project Manager Soldier Warrior (PM SWAR), located at Fort Belvoir, VA. The support required under this effort includes engineering, quality assurance and test support, acquisition support, business management support, logistics and fielding support, operations support, and administrative support. The support areas include, but are not limited to tasks for program management, planning studies and capabilities development, liaison and operations support, engineering and logistics support, new equipment training, system test and product fielding support, acquisition and contracting support, studies and analysis and quick response support. The vendor shall provide expertise for all phases of the system life cycle management to PEO Soldier products. This includes support in response to the deployment of PEO Soldier assets in response to military requirements worldwide.
