- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to issue a small business set-aside Request for Purchase (RFP) for a re-compete of the Catholic Musician services contract at Edgewood Area (Aberdeen Proving Ground South) Edgewood, Maryland. The Government intends to award a single purchase order on a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) basis. The RFQ will include a base year and two (2) one (1) year options. The RFQ will be issued on or about 06 January 2018 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fbo.gov. The RFQ number is W56ZTN-18-R-0008; hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE) for the RFQ release and all subsequent amendments. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 711130 - Musical Groups and Artists; and the size standard is $11 million. The performance work statement (PWS) will be included in the RFP, W56ZTN-18-R-0008. The authority for contracting for musicians is outlined in AR 165-1, paragraph 5.1. All certified companies/individuals are invited to submit quotes which will be considered by ACC-APG. Award will be made to the offeror who is acceptable for all factors and who offers the lowest total price. Important Notice: Offerors are required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Offerors must be registered under the NAICS code 711130. Registration in the SAM database can be accomplished at the website http:// https://www.sam.gov. This is NOT the actual solicitation. Point of Contact (POC) for this action is Terrijuana P.
