- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Gems Sensors, Plainville, CT, for a quantity of six (6) Oil Level Indicators Right Hand (P/N: 608310) and three (3) Oil Level Indicators Left Hand P/N: (608311) in support of the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launching System (EMALS) program. The indicators are built to a defined specification for the EMALS Energy Storage Subsystem (ESS). The Government does not have the detailed data rights for this effort. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C ) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
