Description

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southwest will host an 8(a) Industry Forum on January 23, 2018 at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Learning Center from 1300 “ 1500. NAVFAC Southwest, headquartered in San Diego, CA, provides all facilities acquisition, installation, engineering support, and base operating and maintenance services required to support Navy and Marine Corps Servicemen ashore throughout our six-state area of responsibility (California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Nevada). This is a special announcement, whereby NAVFAC Southwest is seeking to interact with SBA certified 8(a) firms for the purpose of explaining how 8(a) firms can work with NAVFAC Southwest. This is not a request for proposal and no contract will result from the information obtained or presented during the forum. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Contractors interested in attending the forum need to complete the 8(a) Industry Forum - Registration Form and return it via email to M_NAVFAC_SW_Small_Business_UD@navy.mil no later than 1400, January 16, 2018. Early submissions are encouraged. The Forum will be held at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, CA, Learning Center (directly across from the MCRD gas station), on January 23, 2018, from 1300 to 1500 Pacific Standard Time. In the event that NAVFAC Southwest receives more interest in this forum than time permits for individual presentations, contractors will be selected in the following order in which registration forms were received.
