- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command, PMA-265 (Program Office for F/A-18 Aircraft), is soliciting information from industry to determine potential contractors who may have the skills, experience, qualifications, and knowledge required to successfully retrofit the Lower Outboard Longeron on Switzerland SF-18C and SF-18D aircraft, providing the following anticipated retrofit-related requirements in support of Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 633C2: - Design and Development - Logistics Product Data (Provisioning) The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining, from The Boeing Company, all manufacturing drawings and proprietary specification data necessary to complete the effort. Any interested party that feels it can satisfy this requirement must provide in writing a capabilities statement of no more than 2 pages in length that demonstrates the respondent's experience and ability to meet the requirements as specified herein including the delivery schedule requirements. All data received in response to this sources sought, marked or designated as proprietary, will be fully protected from release outside the Government. All responses shall be submitted no later than 05 January 2018. Responses shall be submitted electronically to the designated Contract Specialist, Vicki Mathis, in Microsoft Word format or Portable Document Format (PDF) at the following email address: vicki.mathis@navy.mil. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT.
